African Union commits to increase health spending – after 2010 reversal
I was pleased to see this year that African Union (AU) ministers and the UN Economic Commission (UNEC) adopted a positive resolution on health financing in Addis Ababa in March. The meeting noted the importance of investing in human development, and in health more specifically, as a pre-requisite for sustained equitable development.
